Copenhagen GetToGether
August 5th - 8th 1999 (Thu-Sun)
Overview:
Every year the IAESTE and AIESEC in Copenhagen invite trainees and local
committee members from all over the world to the Copenhagen GetToGether;
to 4 days of fun, entertainment and partying. There will be sightseeing
tours through Copenhagen, a visit to Carlsberg Brewery and Tivoli (the
famous amusement park) and a party each night. Look at the

Some members of the local committtees from Lausanne and Zürich
decided to go there and you are all welcome to join. We understand that
it might be difficult for you to get some holidays, but as this is one
of the biggest IAESTE events it could be worth to talk with your boss.
In order to get reduction on train tickets we should travel in one group.
One single person would cost 300 sFr, in a group of 5 persons
it's only around 200 sFr! The GTG will start on Thursday during the late
afternoon, but it is possible to join at any time later.

What you need to bring with you:

Sleeping bag,

Clothes for voth warm and cold weather (10 C - 25 C)

rain coat

nice clothes for Official Dinner on Saturday (suit, dress)

money for buying beverages and souvenirs.

A valid visa for Denmark and Germany. Check with your embassy if
you need one!
Registration:
As soon as possible. The tickets will be bought on Monday, July 19th. Please
also register here, if you want to go but travel individually.

The registration fee for IAESTE Denmark covers lodging, transportations
during these four days and all food.
Special:
IAESTE Lausanne also organises a GTG visit. However, they travel by plane,
which is ca. 150 CHF more expensive. Contact
Christoph Eigenmann if you
are interested in joining them.
Alternative to the GetToGether:
If you think its too expensive, or if you cannot get some day off: Don't
worry! On the same weekend there is the "Streetparade" in Zurich, a big
Techno Party.

You can
still fill out the registration form and I will register you at IAESTE Denmark.
However, you must organize your trip yourself in principle. I recommend to
contact me (umanser@acm.org) but I cannot guarantee that we find a nice solution.
