When ?

From Saturday July 29th to 30th (2 days), with one night spent in "l’horloge" à Martigny-Bourg. (Reserved for 35 persons).

Rendez-vous (meeting) Saturday 29th 10h47 at the railway station of Martigny.

Please register not later than July 25th 2000.

How to get there ?

By train : exit the train at station Martigny. (Cisalpino, TGV, Intercity doesn’t stop at Martigny)

By car : exit the highway at "Martigny, Fully, Salvan". If you arrive in France or Italy, you’re wrong ! ;)

By plane : take the plane directly to Sion international airport and then take the train for Martigny. ;)

By bus : there are 8 bus places from Lausanne.

Don’t forget to take with you.

Some sandwiches for the lunch on Saturday in Martigny and meat for the BBQ on sunday
A good pair of walking shoes
Sun glasses
Personal accessories
Money
Swimming cloths (If you can't decide between the blue and the red dress, ….)

I prefer the blue one ! !

How much does the weekend cost ?

Including the night in Martigny-Bourg (8 SFr.), the food for Sunday, the entry for foundation Giannada (van Gogh), les Gorges du Trient, the Alpzoo in les Marecottes, the bus for Col de la Forclaz and back, the train for Martigny - Verneyaz - les Marecottes. Approximately 60 SFr. (to pay cash on Saturday July 29th). !

Friday 28 evening :

The IAESTE Local Committee Lausanne is in Paleo festival de Nyon for partying… So there will be no arrangement for sleeping this day, but you can join us and: Party all the night ! !

Saturday 29 july

Arrival at Martigny station 10h47.
Visit of the foundation Giannada (there will be a person of the museum for the explications of van Gogh pictures at 11h15).www.gianadda.ch/
Lunch : Your own picnic.
Depature by bus to Le Col de la Forclaz.

Walk to le glacier du Trient and back (1h and 1h : don’t be affraid, it’s a tourist way) http://membres.tripod.fr/trient/glacier.htm
Departure by bus from le Col de la Forclaz to Martigny-Bourg
Take the place for sleeping in l’horloge.
Free evening in Martigny- bourg or just Martigny

Sunday

Breakfast (sponsored by Alka Selzer)
Departure by montain-train to Verneyaz
Visite of the Gorge du Trient
Departure by the same montain-train to Les Marécottes
Lunch (perhaps a BBQ I've to think of)
Visite of the Alp-Zoo (there is the possibility to go swimming in a " natural " swimming pool. )
Back to Martigny and finally bye bye !!!
