Lausanne Weekend 2001
On 22 and 23th of September 2001 will take place the best event ever
organized by IAESTE Switzerland The world famous Lausanne Weekend.

Visit of the European Center of Nuclear Research (CERN), in Geneva.

Coming back to Lausanne to eat something and party all night.

| Sunday 23th September |

Recovering from Saturday's alcool excess with a strong coffee. |

Visit of the Olympic Museum and of the old town of Lausanne (Cathedral...). |

In case of good weather, peadle boat on the marvelous Léman Lake (and a little swim for the craziest...) will be included in the program. |
Accomodation
Rooms have been booked in the brand new Lausanne guesthouse hostel. It is just near the railway station.
Do not forget to take with you
- Your lunch for Saturday and Sunday (Buy something in a bakery in Lausanne Sunday is also possible)
- Your passport needed to visit the CERN
- Your international student card (if you have one)
- A sleeping bag
- Your train ticket if you have one (half price, GA/AG, Voie 7/Gleis 7....)
- Some money (For Saturday's beers)
- Your greatest smile
Price
Approximately 100 francs. This price includes the train from Lausanne to CERN and back, the night at the hostel, the Olympic Museum ticket and the Saturday evening's meal (without drinks).
Number of participants
For security reasons the CERN can not accept groups of more than 34 people. So register as quick as possible. First come, first served...
Registration
IAESTE Switzerland is not responsible for anything in case of an accident. Make
sure that you are well insured.
As usual... through the web form, deadline Thursday 20th of September at 18:00.

Last Remarks
Gleis7/Voie 7 travelers are very welcome on Friday evening. A night with breakfast will cost you 31.- if you have a sleeping bag and 36.- if not. A first contact with Lausanne night life will be organised.
