Basel-Weekend 2002 15. & 16. June

Summary

During this weekend the world's leading art show takes place in Basel! So we would like to give you the chance of having seen it at least once.
Basel also has a very nice zoo right in the heart of Basel. Haven't you been to a zoo for a long time? Then this is a good opportunity to visit our nice city but also get some cultural stuff! Get together with other trainees from all over the world!

Program

Saturday 15.06.02
Saturday 11 AM	arrival at Basel Centralbahnhof; we see us at the meeting point.
Afterwards	by tram to the Art |33| Basel. Take a sandwich with you for lunch. The visit might last until 4 PM. (this is art too!)
Afternoon	Short sightseeing in Basel
Evening	Big barbecue at a small river in the surroundings of Basel. We will provide food & drinks. Feel free to bring something with you. When its gets dark, we'll have an easy-going party at the accommodation.
Sunday 16.06.02
Morning	Getting up & having breakfast.
Afterwards	Visit of Basel's famous zoo
Afternoon	If the weather is nice, we'll go to a small park called "Birsköpfli" to play volleyball and Frisbee or just relax and perhaps take a swim in the Rhine River.

60 Swiss francs (including accommodation, barbecue & breakfast, tickets)

Miscellaneous

The number of participants is limited to 30 persons. Priorty will be given to IAESTE Trainees & Members, followed by AIESEC, ESN and IAAS Trainees & Members.

Trainees from Basel are also welcome just to join for the barbecue on Saturday Evening. Costs are 15 Swiss francs.
