When / Where

We meet at the Railway station on Saturday July 26th at 11:00am.

Programme

Saturday
11:15 AM: arrival at the railway station Basel SBB; we see us at the meeting point. Afterwards: Either we go to Basel's famous zoo or to the Tinguely museum. (You can decide during the registration) Afternoon: We make a small sightseeing tour through Basel what will end up at the Birsköpfli where we can go for a swim in the Rhine. Evening: Big barbecue at the Birsköpfli. We will provide food & drinks. Feel free to bring something with you.

Sunday
Morning: Getting up & having breakfast. Afterwards: We take the Bus to Reigoldswil at the Aeschenplatz. In Reigoldswil we are going to take the cablecar up to "Wasserfallen" where we rent "Trottinetts" (kind of scooter) for a fast and furious race back down.

Participation and Costs

The number of participants for the weekend is limited to 30 persons and IAESTE trainees have priority. 

Costs (to be paid at the beginning of the weekend):

• The participation fee is CHF 60
• The fee includes
  • Lodging (the night between Saturday and Sunday)
  • Local transport
  • Entrance to Tinguely museum/Zoo
  • scooter rental and cablecare ride
  • BBQ on Saturday
  • Breakfast and lunch on Sunday
• NOT included: train ticket from your home to Basel
