International Evening Basel 2006 October 6, 2006 @ 8PM
Would you like to celebrate our amazing cultural diversity in a very tasty and musical way? Well this would be a great chance for you to show off your culinary skills as well as your favourite international beats! The annual International Evening in Basel is an event where trainees bring their national dish and their favourite songs (in any language) with them to an evening where they will be able to immerse themselves in an international atmosphere and enjoy a musical tour around the world!
Highlights
- international dishes from every corner of the globe
- music
spanning all genres, languages, and cultures
- win prizes for
the most popular dish!
- last but not least: international
drinks!
Reimbursement
Not only will LC Basel provide drinks and prepare a special Swiss
dish, we would also like to support your efforts in creating your
own dish. If you bring the receipt we would be able to reimburse up
to 20 SFr. for each dish. International alcoholic drinks are more
than welcome but they won't be reimbursed.
Location
This event will be held at (see
map):
Studentenheim
Mittlere Strasse 33
Basel, CH-4056
The outside door locks automatically in the evening. Someone will
be at the door from 8-9PM, so it would be best to arrive at that
time. Otherwise you may call me at: 076 529 6397. There will be
signs once you enter that will guide you to the party!
If you are coming from the train station Basel SBB, take
bus number 30 (direction Badischer Bahnhof) and after four stops get
off at Bernoullianum. Once you are out of the bus go uphill to the
first intersection. Turn left at the first intersection and you will
be on Mittlere Strasse. Walk for 50 meters and you will see the name "Studentenheim"
on the left side of the street.
