The landscape between the three lakes Lake Biel, Lake Neuchâtel and Lake Murten is absolutely magnificent - just perfect for biking.
We bike along the differnt lakeshores, enjoy barbecues, go swimming and visit historical towns. And of course we'll have heaps of fun together...
Tour details
- First day we ride a distance of 42km
- Second day we ride a distance of 41km
To participate you have to be able to safely ride a bike!

Programme
| Saturday June 2 |
- 09:15 Meeting at the meeting point at the railwaystation Biel
- 09:30 Pick up the bikes and get ready for the ride
- 10:00 Ride besides the Lake Biel to Erlach
- 12:00 Lunch at the lakeshore, grill, swim and chill, time to visit the Peninsula St. Peter and the historical town Erlach.
- 14:30 Continue our ride to Épagnier, Mont Vully...
- 18:00 Arrival at the farmhouse where we will stay overnight
- 19:30 Typical, delicious Swiss dinner with a superior view over Lake Murten

| Sunday June 3 |
- 09:00 Breakfast
- 10:00 Departure heading for the historical town Estavayer-le-Lac
- 12:00 Lunchbreak with a little barbie (refilling renewable biofuel)
- 14:00 Continue the ride to Yverdon-les-Bains, our final destination!
- 16:00 Arrival at Yverdon and cool down in the Lake Neuchâtel

Please take with you
- Bring your own lunch for Saturday (suggestions: bread, cheese, sausages (Salsiz, Landjäger, Cervelat) which can be eaten raw, chocolate, dried fruits)
We will light a bonefire if possible to grill the sausages.
- At least 1 liter to drink
- Raincoat
- Sunglasses and sun cream
- Personal medicine (allergic persons)
- Stuff you need to go swimming
- Sleeping bag
- Toothbrush and whatever you need to sleep outwards
- Lots of energy and a big :-)
The bikes are equipped with a bicycle rack. Make sure that you pack your stuff in a bag wich you can load on the bicycle rack.
Costs
The event costs CHF 85 with Halbtax and CHF 95 without Halbtax.
Please bring the exact amount of money on Saturday. It will be collected at the meeting point in Biel-Bienne.

- Breakfast and lunch on Sunday
Everybody is responsible for his train ticket to Biel and the ticket from Yverdon-les-Bains back home!

Number of participants and registration
The maximum number of participants allowed for this event is
25 (including organizers and helpers) and
the registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If your
registration is not among the first 25, you will be put on
the waiting list. With a bit of luck, you will still
be able to participate!
