The Local Committees of IAESTE Switzerland are proud to present the new event program for the season 2008. For an idea of some of the events that will occur in 2008, take a look at our Events Archive. Please read the information below the overview table for some important general remarks.

Information pages and announcements

For most events, detailed information is published on a separate page linked to from here as soon as that information is available. This will be announced on our official e-mail list only, not on the jokes list (to subscribe or browse the archive, follow the current instructions). For some events, there may be no separate information page here, but information will be posted on the official mailing list.

Updates

Keep in mind that the members of the LCs organise these events in their free time besides school or their job, so please note the following:

• The program may change. Please don't blame us if we have to cancel (we really try to avoid that) or postpone an event because we don't have enough manpower (and womanpower :-) ) to organize it.
• We try to publish the information sheet for an event as early as possible, but sometimes it can be on a bit short notice.
• Please contact the event organizers only after you have read the full information on the web and in case of important questions.
• For technical reasons the overview table or an event info page may have changed since the "last modified" date given in the footer of the page.

Registration and priority

For all of our events which require registration, this is done electronically on a "first come, first served" basis. Each event info page will have a link to the registration form and state when registration opens and closes. Early registration (before the registration period opens) is not possible.

Priority for our lists of participants is given as follows:

1. IAESTE trainees in Switzerland and members of the IAESTE Local Committees in Switzerland or of IAESTE Switzerland;
2. trainees and members of AIESEC, ESN and IAAS (in return IAESTE trainees and members are invited to participate in the events of ESN, AIESEC and IAAS in Zurich as well!);
3. other guests and friends.

Our events have been very popular the past years and spots on the participant lists have always filled up quickly, so we recommend you register as early as possible.
