Program

Saturday, January 12
Meeting point: Lausanne railway station Deposit luggage in Lausanne Guesthouse Vineyard visit & vine degustation Sandwich lunch Fondue dinner in Café de l'Evêché Lôzane's burning
Sunday, January 13
Breakfast in Lausanne Guesthouse City tour in Lausanne Sandwich lunch Visit of the Olympic museum Train back home

Participation fees

• With SBB General Abonnement (GA): 80 CHF
• With SBB half-fare (1/2) (with or without Gleis 7): 90 CHF
• Without SBB half-fare (1/2): 90 CHF

If you do not yet have a SBB half-fare card, we recommend you buying one! Check the SBB website!

A surcharge of 30 CHF will apply for participants who are not affiliated with IAESTE or its partner organisations.

The money will be collected at the start of the weekend. Only cash is accepted! :-)

Included in the participation fee

• Dinner on Saturday
• Lôzane's burning ticket
• Transportation to vineyard
• Vine degustation (3-5 glasses of vine + a little snack)
• Accommodation in hostel
• Breakfast on Sunday
• Entry for Olympic museum

Not included in the participation fee

• Train ride from your place to Lausanne and back
• Lunch on Saturday and Sunday
• Drinks at the dinner on Saturday

Cancellation policy

• if you cancel less than 12 hours before the start of the event (event start: 10.15am, Saturday), you pay 100%
• if you cancel 12-24 hours before, you pay 75%
• if you cancel 24-48 hours before, you pay 50%
• if you cancel 48-72 hours before, you pay 25%

Important - what to bring

• Train ticket from your place to Lausanne and back (or Gleis 7 for going back)
• Lunch for Saturday and Sunday
• Small bag to carry your food and your own drinks
• Cash for the participation fee and everything else
• Student card if you have one
• Sleeping bag
• Lots of energy and your best smile!

Meeting point and train connections

Meeting point for all participants is in Lausanne at 10:45 in front of the Kiosk in the entry hall of the railway station!

Important notes

IAESTE Switzerland is not responsible for any damage or accident! Make sure that you are well insured (medical, accidental & liability insurance!).

Registration

The maximum number of participants allowed for this event is 16 (including organizers and helpers) and the registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If your registration is not among the first 16, you will be put on the waiting list. With a bit of luck, you will still be able to participate!
